Summer is here and Midlothian is ready with fundraisers and events!
Friday, June 2
-Relay for Life, 6:00pm-12:00am, Civic Center, 224 11th St., Midlothian, TX
Have you or someone you know been affected by cancer? Relay for Life is the signature fundraiser for the American Cancer Society and an event to bring communities together to raise awareness for action. This event is staffed and coordinated by community volunteers. There will be an opening ceremony, laps for survivors and caregivers, a ceremony honoring those lost to cancer, and then will close with a celebration for all that has been accomplished!
Saturday, June 3
-The Midlothian Market, Heritage Park, 234 N. 8th St., 8:00am-12:00pm
Held in the historic downtown every 1st and 3rd Saturday, The Midlothian Market is an open market of crafts, food, and handmade vendors. Located next to the Larkin Newton log cabin, come out and enjoy the nice weather while shopping!

Benefiting Boy Scout Troop 524, come and enjoy breakfast, helicopter rides, classic cars and airplanes, live music and children’s activities! Tickets are $6 for adults and children over 8 and $3 children 7 and under.

Friday, June 16
-Daddy Daughter Dance, Midlothian Conference Center, 1 Community Circle Dr., 6:30pm-9:00pm
Dinner, Dancing, and Games! Enjoy time with your loved one and get ready for Father’s Day. Tickets are $30 per dad and daughter and $10 for each additional daughter.

The members of the Indian Trail Chapter of the Texas Master Naturalist Program would like to invite you to a stroll through the wildflowers of Texas. Starting at 9:00 am they will be guiding a ½ mile tour. There is no charge but do come prepared with water, closed-toe shoes, and insect repellant.

Sit back, relax, and enjoy different musicians and great bands perform old country and gospel music from 7:00-9:00pm. Tickets are $5 and proceeds are donated to local organizations.
